Hello everyone,
At the end of last year I discovered the world of Sylvain Margaine’s FORBIDDEN PLACES.

All my life, like him I guess, I have been drawn to and inspired by the deserted, abandoned, dis-used places within our urban environment. They have a special silence. A special stillness and within that silence and stillness there is a unique resonance.

I strongly recommend anyone with a similar curiosity to take a further look at such places and if we can’t all be as fearless as Sylvain, to at least take a look at his book “Forbidden Places – Exploring Our Abandoned Heritage”.
